This is a question that the blogger has received almost every day since making the account. In fact, many turtles in my compilation “recognize a turtle in each issue of theclassification of a more detailed description, if you have time you can flip through, so as to select the species that meets the range of their own ability, this issue will talk about my personal opinion that is suitable for newbies to keep and have a characteristic turtle.

I. Domestic red-faced egg turtle
There is no shortage of people who will say, “That thing is a black face when it grows up, it’s not pretty at all, so there’s nothing to play with”. In fact, it is not, first of all, the domestic red face is not as strong as the small breed gene, but the price is cheap ah. And if you consistently feed the color food, its head lines and head color in the continuous growth will be more and more unexpected, or orange or yellow or orange, but also mixed with rich lines. And the face color is still online when it grows up, the blogger thinks it’s pretty good looking anyway, and the interactivity that’s nothing to sneeze at. And I have raised five red-faced seedlings have not encountered rotting skin, white eyes, stress, and most importantly, can be hibernated, although the seedling period is not recommended.

II. Flame Turtle
While bloggers have never recommended Brazilian-faced turtles, flames are excluded due to the fact that each one will have its own unique color and pattern when it grows up. And flame turtles love veggies, so as long as you consistently feed them sweet potato leaves or coloring food, they will grow up to wow you, and can be hibernated as well.

III. Small green turtles
A few years ago, the price of a small green was in the four-figure range, now it can be picked up for a small two-digit sum, and they should be considered the only cold-water turtle with a smiling face. Personally, I think they are better when they are young. Keeping small green is very simple, but need to pay special attention to two points, one is to be sure to be in the white rearing environment; the second is to pay attention to the red neck problem.
